Lori Mohacsy
Sessional Professor of Art and Drama
Lori has been an actor/singer/writer for over 20 years. Some highlights include the role of Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” (Citadel Theatre, Edmonton), performing with Mary Wilson of the Supremes in “Beehive” (Stage West, Calgary), traveling to Japan with “Kompany, the dance troupe”, and co-writing the children’s television series “Be Alert Bert”, in which she also played the role of Betty the Butterfly.
For a number of years, Lori has been teaching voice-overs and script analysis for radio and television. Contracts include the Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Grant MacEwan College and the BFA Drama program at the University of Alberta. Lori has been contracted by The King’s University College several times, and currently teaches Drama 249, Introduction to Dramatic Process.
