Koinonia Christian School is a small Christian school just outside of Olds, Alberta.  They are seeking a Christian high school teacher to teach English 20, starting at the beginning of February, 2012.

Please call 403-556-4038.
Houston Christian School is cradled between Morice Mountain to the south and Mount Harry Davis to the north along the banks of the Bulkley River – as the mountains are around Jerusalem (Psalm 125). It looks forward to celebrating 50 years of offering Christian education to the community of Houston in 2012. With a student population of about 106 from K-12, HCS has a unique blend of students and teachers.
Because we are restructuring our primary classes for the 2012-2013 school year, we need a grade one teacher, a part time grade 2 teacher and a part time Learning Assistance teacher.  The last two positions could be combined into one full-time position.  Additionally we are looking to fill a possible part time high school vacancy teaching French.

The successful candidates will have a strong commitment to Christian education, the ability to work well in a collaborative setting, and an understanding of the unique needs of elementary and high school students. The successful applicants should be able to articulate a Christian world-view.  A background or exposure to special education needs would be a significant asset for the primary and Learning Assistance positions.

This position commences August 2012.
The successful applicant must hold, or be eligible for, a valid BC Teaching Certificate and meet the requirements of the HCS Employment Contract.

Applications should include a current resume, a brief cover letter, three references, a statement of your philosophy of Christian education, a statement of faith, and credentials should be submitted to the attention of:
