Scholarships

In addition to the financial aid available to all disciplines, the following are exclusive to Environmental Studies Students.

The Vancouver Horticultural Services Scholarship in Environmental Studies
A $500 scholarship will be awarded annually to a full-time student entering first year of the B.A. or B.Sc. program in Environmental Studies. Criteria for the award include enrolment in the program, academic achievement, and demonstrated commitment to stewardship of God's creation.

The Bill and Carole Schriek Environmental Scholarship
One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a returning Environmental Studies student who possesses academic excellence and provides a commitment to "environmental stewardship through leadership in environmental affairs" statement.

The Real Canadian Superstore Scholarship
One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a full-time new or returning student in the B.A or B.Sc. program in Environmental Studies. To be eligible students must have an average of 70% or better on high school entrance marks, or maintain a 2.70 grade point average (GPA), and demonstrate financial need.

The King’s University College Environmental Studies Bursaries
Five bursaries of $500 are available to full-time students enrolled in the B.A or B.Sc. program in Environmental Studies. To be eligible, students must apply, have satisfactory academic standing and must demonstrate financial need.

The Sandy Sutton Memorial Scholarship
One scholarship of $2000 awarded to a returning Environmental Studies student who demonstrates community involvement with non-profit organizations and has an immediate family member employed by an ESAA Member Company (ESAA webpage has a searchable member directory, www.esaa.org)

Rienders Environmental Studies Scholarship
A scholarship of $1,500 is available to a full-time incoming or returning student who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree program in Environmental Studies. To be eligible first-year students must have an average of 80% or better on high school entrance marks and returning students must maintain a 3.30 grade point average (GPA). Selection criteria include academic achievement and demonstrated Christian commitment. This scholarship was made possible through a generous gift from Maple Reinders Group Ltd.
