Geography is an exciting interdisciplinary field that spans the natural sciences, the social sciences and the humanities and has something to offer every kind of imagination. Geography courses at King's include physical geography, landscapes and human settlements and geographic information systems (GIS).
Physical geography explores the origins of earth's major systems including geological, hydrological, and global climate systems and investigates the processes that influence the characteristics of landforms, vegetation and soils.
Landscapes and human settlements explores the relationship between humans and the natural environment and the spatial distributions of cities, industry, religions and culture.
GIS is an applications course focusing on spatial problem solving, data input and data manipulation using GIS software, and GIS issues and problems.
