The King's University is committed to hiring our students to fulfill temporary positions throughout the University. Students working on campus provide King’s with talented people who significantly contribute to the smooth operations and research projects at the University.
To be eligible for work as an employee, students must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolment or acceptance as a student in King’s University
- Students must maintain satisfactory academic standing in accordance with the King’s Academic Calendar each term and must adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. Students on academic or non-academic probation are not eligible.
Student Life
The main objective of the Indigenous Program Student Worker is to provide a strong community of support for indigenous students, create resources and educational campaigns, activities and events that raise awareness on the Indigenous people’s histories and futures. The student worker will also have the opportunity to participate on the Indigenous Initiatives Circle and support programming and during National Day for Truth & Reconciliation week in September. This position runs August 19, 2024 – April 26, 2025 and requires approx. 5-10 hours/week.
Student Life
Under the supervision of the Building Services Manager, Student Cleaners are responsible for the cleaning of the University’s 270,000 sq. ft. campus, including the building itself and furniture, equipment and other day to day maintenance as directed. Please Note: Irregular hours; must be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
The term for this position is May 1 - August 31, 2024.
