Eagles Athlete of the Week

For the Week of September 13th - 19th 

Carline Visser – Women’s Soccer

Carline’s speed and determination has allowed her to find herself in several goal scoring opportunities with the other teams in the North, but she finally capitalized on those opportunities this weekend. Carline scored 2 vital goals against the Keyano Huskies and lead the Eagles to a 2-1 victory , a long awaited moment since the Eagles won their last game on October 18th 2008 when they also beat the Huskies.  Carline is a new addition to the Eagle’s roster and has been working hard all season for this moment, she will be essential in their next game against the NAIT Ooks on Saturday September 25th.

Todd Van Driel – Men’s Soccer

Second-year goalkeeper Todd Van Driel has been a standout; his atttiude, commitment and drive are great examples to his teammates.  His consistent play has ensured that every match is competitive, and he has provided his team an opportunity to win, especially in close matches against Grande Prairie, Concordia and Keyano.
