Clothing Purchase Policy
As much as can be determined, clothing purchased by King’s is manufactured under humane working conditions, meeting or exceeding minimum labour standards in the country of manufacture. Suppliers who won’t agree to abide by our policy are not used.
Fair Trade
We believe workers from any country should get a fair price for their labour – that’s why we carry Fair Trade Certified coffee, tea and chocolate, and support other fair trade initiatives like Freeset.
Cloth Bags
To reduce our ecological footprint, we have switched from plastic bags to recycled cloth bags. When you shop, you can choose to bring your own bag or purchase one of our cloth ones for $1.
Environmentally Friendly Choices
We are endeavouring to carry more and more items that reflect care for the environment – particularly paper products that are recycled (post-consumer when possible), and use soy-based inks.
