Library Donation Policy

The Simona Maaskant Library welcomes gifts of books and other information resources that enhance the strength of the collection and support the instructional and research programs of the institution.

Donations will be accepted within these parameters:

• We request that the donor deliver the items to the Library.

• Gifts are accepted with the understanding that they become the property of The King’s University College upon receipt, and that the Library will make all necessary decisions as to their retention, location, cataloguing treatment and other conditions related to their use and disposition.

• Donated materials that are not needed for the collection may be exchanged with other libraries or otherwise used for the benefit of the university college in accordance with established procedures.

• Gifts of money to purchase library resources are also welcome.  All such gifts will be accepted within the parameters of King’s general donation policies.
