Worship Teams
Worship teams are a great opportunity for students to sharpen their worship leading skills while helping the gathered community to worship God.

Teams lead worship at both weekly chapel (Wednesdays at noon) and at Worship 937 (Wednesday evenings). Worship teams can expect to lead worship 2-3 times a month.

Each team has a team leader who helps to plan worship, schedules and leads rehearsals, and mentors the team members. The student worship assistant and the campus minister are also available to help the team in any way and will observe rehearsals off and on to offer feedback and assistance.

How to Join a Worship Team
Teams are formed at the beginning of the school year through an application and interview process. When selecting worship team members we consider a person’s heart, desire to learn, commitment level, and musical ability. We would love to give everyone a chance to be on a worship team, but depending on the interest level, this is not always possible.

Tuesday, Sept. 8: Worship Team Applications Due
Thursday, Sept. 10 and Friday, Sept. 11: Worship Team Interviews
Friday Sept. 25-Saturday Sept. 26: Worship Team Training Retreat

Application Form

Note: While teams are formed in September, we might have spaces become available during the school year. If you are not placed on a team in September, we will keep your application on file. If you missed the application deadline and interviews in September, you are welcome to submit an application to be considered if a space becomes available during the year.
