Commuter Students Program
2/3 of King’s students are commuters. We recognize that co-curricular activities and services can be difficult to access if you do not live on campus. Our dedicated commuter program team is working hard to provide specific opportunities for you as commuters to connect with each other as well as act as a voice on your behalf.

How do we communicate with you?
Our main method is via your King’s email address. If you are unsure how to set this up, pop in to the IT department in rooms A138 or A139. You can also forward your King’s emails to alternate email addresses. There is a commuter notice board outside Witty’s office – A130. This is located next to the student activity centre. Check it regularly!
Look out for notices around campus and in the student newspaper, The Chronicle, which comes out every 2 weeks on a Friday.

Thursdays - 9:30 to 10:30 am with Quentin

Car Pooling
We have tried to set up a car pooling system in the past but it has never really taken off. We have found that because King's is a small institution, most students have been able to make informal arrangements with fellow students that they have got to know in classes or in social activities. If you would like to car pool, let Witty, the Coordinator of Student Programs know and she will try and put you in touch with other students who may live in the same area as you. Her details are above.
The Level Coffee Shop
Need somewhere to hangout between classes or do homework in a relaxed space? Try the Student Activity Centre. You can sip specialty coffee or soda whilst enjoying the chilled ambience of this Student Association run centre. From time to time, there are special one off competitions and/or draws.
