Counselling
Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.
Need to talk? Are you experiencing sadness, anxiety, mood swings, conflict with roommates, dependency on alcohol or drugs, grief, loneliness, abuse (past or present) food issues, self-doubt, relationship problems or other personal concerns? Need someone to listen with care?
Free and confidential crisis support or personal counselling is available from our Student Counselor. Students are invited to "drop-in" or make an appointment.
When necessary, the Student Counsellor can help refer you to other agencies in the community. Seeking help from the Student Counsellor is a sign of strength, not weakness. "Toughing it out" is unnecessary!
