How do I schedule a visit?
Like a proud parent with a wallet full of photos, we love to gush about King’s. Our staff, faculty, and students are eager to meet with you and help you discover King’s for yourself. The easiest way to schedule a visit is to check out our upcoming events and register online. You can also call our office at 780-.465.8334 or 1.800.661.8582.
 
How far in advance should we make our plans?
We all love surprises on our birthdays, but when it comes to campus visits, the more notice you give us the better prepared we can be to make sure you get the most out of your visit.
A three day courtesy is appreciated when requesting a personal visit to meet with an Admission Counsellor. Most of our scheduled events have a registration cut-off one week prior to the event date and for groups of six or more we request at least two week’s notice. While every effort will be made to accommodate same day or walk-in visits, high volume means we cannot guarantee availability without an appointment.
Requests to sit in on a class or to meet with athletics staff or faculty members can generally be arranged with at least three days’ notice.
 
When is the best time to visit campus?
At 10:17 am (just kidding). While we do offer personal appointments with an Admission Counsellor, the very best time to visit is during one of our King’s View Fridays (KVF) or King’s Encounter Weekends (KEW). Visits during these events allow you to get the most comprehensive view of what life will be like while attending King’s. Other events such as our Open House or King’s View Express (KVE) are also a great way to discover what King’s has to offer.
 
I can only attend a portion of a KVF or KEW event. Is that going to be a problem?
Like a trip to Mexico, these events have been designed as all inclusive packages that encourage full participation from our guests, but require much less sun block. However, we do understand that you have a busy schedule and so King’s has created a new event just for you. The King’s View Express (KVE) will give you the best overview of King’s without sacrificing too much of your time. Alternatively, we’d love to book a personal appointment to meet with you and answer any questions you have.
 
Where can we purchase King’s gear?
King’s-themed clothing and souvenirs are sold in the King’s Bookstore which is located just north of our main entrance. Once you enter the building turn left and you’ll see it – unless you’re walking with your eyes closed, which we don’t recommend.
 
Are campus visits offered during the summer?
Yes. Our office is open year-round for your convience. If you are unable to attend one of our scheduled events during the academic year, please contact our office to book an appointment or campus tour.
