From choir performances to riveting drama productions, King's presents a myriad of enjoyable, family friendly activities throughout the winter season.

With temperatures outside below freezing you’re probably looking for some cozy indoor activities to enjoy. Look no further, King’s has you covered! Take a look at a few noteworthy upcoming performances to keep you out of the cold featuring King’s students, staff and faculty:

January 26, 2020
Hear the voices of The King’s University Choirs at Southpointe Community Centre as they perform a variety of pieces from Brahms, Vaughan-Williams and many more. This performance is a partnership with Orchestra Borealis and will run from 3:30 – 5:30p.m.

February 13, 14 & 15, 2020
Join The King’s Players at 8:00p.m. for their performance of Opening Night.
Written by Norm Foster – considered one of Canada’s greatest playwrights – Opening Night brings the audience into the world of Ruth and Jack Tisdale as they celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary at the theatre, a fact that thrills Ruth but is a nightmare for Jack. With a slew of colourful characters and the anticipation of opening night at the theatre…what could go wrong?

Take in a performance by King’s Chamber Choir and Kappella Kyrie Slavic Chamber Choir as they present A Lenten Journey. The performance begins at 7:30p.m. and takes place at All Saints Anglican Cathedral as a celebration of Kappella Kyrie’s 10th Anniversary.

Experience an evening with Frank Ho, and Dr. Joachim Segger, in Nicholas B. Knoppers Hall from 7:30-8:30p.m. as they perform Beethoven Violin Sonatas.

Join The King’s University Choirs as they put on a 40th Anniversary Spring Choir Concert in celebration of God’s faithfulness to king’s over the last 40 years. This performance will take place at West End Christian Reformed Church.
