Top Canadian management institution recognizes Leder School of Business

Effective immediately, graduates of King’s Bachelor of Commerce program will qualify for the Certified in Management (C.I.M) designation. The program received national accreditation from the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM), Canada's senior management association. After 4 years of management experience, graduates can apply for their Chartered Manager (C.Mgr) designation.

“We're very pleased that CIM has seen such great value in our business program,” states Ryan Young, Dean of the Leder School of Business. “This designation further proves what we and our students have known for a long time – that professional programs delivered in a Christian liberal arts context truly are recognized by industry leaders, professional organizations, and employers."

The CIM designation preceded another important designation for King’s business program from CPA (Chartered Professional Accountants), an organization representing over 200,000 accounts nationwide. Accreditation by CPA means business graduates can enter directly into the CPA Professional Education Program. More information on the CIM designation can be found on the CIM website.
