The King’s University is showcasing the artwork of Daniel vanHeyst, professor of drama and visual art, with an art exhibition titled “Sabbatical.” Explore his newest collection in the Atrium at The King’s University.

This collection was inspired during vanHeyst’s sabbatical from January to July of 2017 during travel through the United States and Alberta. Many of his canvasses were painted outdoors amidst the vistas of Nevada, California, New Mexico, Arizona, and southern Alberta. The collection can be visited at the university until October 30, 2017.

All the works displayed are also for sale from the artist.

VanHeyst has participated in several group shows and art auctions, and his paintings are held in dozens of private collections. His artwork often features acrylic on canvas, encaustic, and mixed media pieces. Find examples of his work on his Facebook page.
