Lynda Koot

Lynda has been at King’s since January 2006, after moving to Edmonton from Victoria, BC.  A the Building Services Manager, Lynda, manages the ‘services’ staffing in the areas of reception, security and custodial.  Lynda is responsible for the inventory and ordering of furniture, maintaining the inventory of keys, and managing changes and updates to the millennium door access control system.  Lynda works closely with our Conference Services Department to ensure that the events booked on campus run smoothly from a Facilities perspective.  Lynda is a member of the Health & Safety Committee and handles all the ‘in-house’ safety training such as first Aid, WHMIS and TDG.  Lynda is a Campus Fire Marshal and works closely with the Facilities Aesthetics’ Committee and the Presidents visual Arts Council.  Lynda has been a member of the Social Committee for over 15 years.
