Witty moved to Canada from England in 2009. She has over 30 years of experience working with young adults and students in high school and post-secondary education. She has a professional qualification in career counseling and is currently studying for a masters in spiritual formation at Portland Seminary which includes training to become a spiritual director. She is also a certified MBTI practitioner.
Witty has a deep interest in vocation, specifically as it relates to making meaning of our lives and questions of identity and significance, matters which transcend one’s day-to-day paid or unpaid work. Witty has a passion for people and believes that her life’s calling is to inspire and help others discover for themselves all they are called to be in this world. You can find out more about this and explore the topic of vocation at her website.
Witty is presently using her skill set in Student Life at King’s, focusing on engaging new students through the Orientation Program, running a commuter program for those who live off campus, and is responsible for student leadership development.
Outside of work, Witty enjoys being behind a camera, honing her skills making documentary style pictures that capture the regular and beautiful lives of ordinary people at work, rest, and play. Witty also loves to hang out with family and friends over food and enjoys confusing people with English idioms and terminology.
