Lindsay was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. From a young age she had a desperate need to consume the written word, reading her parents out of house and home. Her passion drove her to complete a bachelor’s degree in Professional Communications from MacEwan University. After graduating, Lindsay spent four years working for Alberta Health Services with a project devoted to making healthcare better for patients and families. She wrote and edited newsletters and educational materials for hospitals throughout Alberta.
Lindsay has two published short stories, and is an aspiring novelist (with a dark fantasy novel series stewing on her laptop). Her hobbies include stocking her bookshelf (library) with new science-fiction or fantasy finds, playing story-driven video games, and drawing.
