Globe Aware Week

Global Awareness Week is King’s annual festival that celebrates the diversity we have on campus. Students are encouraged to share pieces of their heritage through food, music, art or any other forms of cultural expressions during the events that occur during the week.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

Coffee & Tea around the World
8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | The Level Coffeehouse

Start the week right by sampling a cup of coffee and tea from different countries like Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Kenya and China!

International Chapel
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | N-Wing Garden

We will be spending some time reflecting on reconciliation and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. We dedicate this chapel to those who were affected by the Indian Residential Schools.

International Wednesday Chill
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | 6:01 Lounge, outside The Level Coffeehouse

In collaboration with the Commuter Program, we will be making bannock for the evening. Come and help prepare this dish with other students!

Henna Tattoos

Always wanted a tattoo but not sure how it will look like? Get a temporary tattoo for free!

Cricket Tournament

Challenge yourself with a game. Come out, learn and play cricket hosted by Dr. Mark Sandle. Open for all students, faculty and staff!
