Celebrate King's Week!

Mar 20, 2018

It's Celebrate King's Week from March 19 to 24! There are events happening each day on campus, from tasty surprise treats to large-scale evening events, so keep your eyes peeled and tuned in on social media.

For a full list of events, head to the Celebrate King's Week page.

Surprise Snacks
March 19 - 24
Free popcorn will be making its appearance throughout the week. It will change locations, so keep your eyes out.

Founders Day
March 20, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday is all about celebrating our founding story with a throwback to the people who made this place possible. We'll also be serving up authentic Dutch stroopwafels made fresh on-site by our friends at Double Dutch Treats & Meats. These delightful “syrup waffles” will be available by donation towards mental health initiatives at King’s, so stay tuned for their surprise location on campus from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Show Your King's Colours
March 21
All day Wednesday we encourage everyone on campus to colour coordinate! Show off your school pride by sporting King’s apparel or wearing the colour blue. Izzy the Eagle and King’s paparazzi will be out and about to snap photos and award prizes to the best dressed.

Last Lecture
March 22 – 6:30 p.m.
Last Lecture is an opportunity for graduating students to get together, enjoy their favourite foods, and reflect on the many lessons learned as an undergrad. This is a free event for all King's students intending to graduate in 2018. Please RSVP online through thekingsu.eventbrite.ca.
