King's Students Eligible for Advanced Standing with Credit at Regent College
King’s graduates who go on to continue their education at Regent College are eligible to be considered for advanced standing with credit in the Master of Arts in Christian Studies, the Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and the Master of Divinity programs.
To qualify, King’s graduates must meet the following criteria:
- A graduating GPA of at least 3.7 on a 4-point scale, with graduation no more than seven years prior to admission to Regent College.
- A minimum grade of A- in a course or courses with content similar to that of specific introductory courses at Regent College.
- Broad exposure to the humanities, including courses in biblical studies, the history of Christianity, and Christian theology.
When applying for admission to Regent College, students can indicate their interest in advance standing with credit in the Personal Statement accompanying their application or in an email to Regent’s admissions department.
