This position is responsible to process all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
In this role you will:

 Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
 Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
 Perform day to day financial transactions, verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
 Process and enter staff visa expenses. Downloading monthly statements, distributing to staff, ensuring visas are reconciled and returned from staff in a timely manner and data entry into financial program.
 Maintain fixed asset ledger.
 Proficient at processing payroll & contributions to serve as backup when needed.
 Under guidance from Human Resources, administer employee absence database (ADP), serve as resident expert on time and attendance module.
 Work with accounts receivable and other finance staff to ensure accuracy in finances.
 Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
 Maintain historical records by filing documents according to financial best practices.
 Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
 Other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.

 Comfortable and proficient with data entry.
 Able to maintain confidentiality.
 Excellent computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, ShelbyNext, Church Community Builder, and other related programs.
