BizBash Sales Internship is North America’s #1 source of ideas, news, and resources for event, meeting, and
travel professionals within the incentive travel, destination management, and corporate meeting and
event industries. Our mission is to empower these industry professionals with ideas, intelligence and
resources to create smarter events.
The role of a BizBash Sales Intern is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires an individual who
can provide strategic and operational support to the BizBash Sales Department. This internship will
allow an individual to be part of the BizBash history through assisting in our explosive expansion
with clerical activities, project management, data entry, and procedural systems related tasks. This
individual will have strong business acumen, impeccable organizational skills, and excellent
communication abilities. We are looking for a professional individual with a go getter attitude, high
attention to detail, and, if desired after the conclusion of the internship, the eagerness to grow and
advance with our organization.
● Assist with audience development initiatives
● Work with Marketing Dept. to assist with international growth
● Attend virtual incentive and event industry events and create valuable industry relationships
● Assist with identifying, qualifying, and initially engaging new prospects for sales team
● Assist with Salesforce data entry (will provide training), report management, spreadsheets, records
upkeep, invoices, expense reports, etc.
● Interact directly with company clients to fulfill small requests, collect advertising materials, and
ensure their campaigns are executed completely and properly
● Maintain social media accounts by posting content and engaging with BizBash audience
● Provide back up where necessary to other company sales, marketing, and event initiatives
● High School diploma or GED required (Associates Degree is an asset)
● Must be eligible to receive school credit
● Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, and be able to effectively
communicate with others (both in person and remotely)
● Must be a self-starter who’s able to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize duties
● Needs to be able to manage a balance of systematic checklist-style responsibilities and have the
ability to recognize and proactively pursue new opportunities
● Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
● Salesforce data management (will provide training) – experience with Salesforce is an asset
● Results oriented with proven ability to set and manage multiple priorities through strict time
management to ensure all deadlines are met
● Have relentless follow through, be well organized, detail oriented and have an excellent ability to
problem solve
● Strong relationship building skills, networking skills, and the ability to influence and drive alignment
with company objectives
