Enterprise Commons is a multi-year initiative that will implement a single, modernized, core enterprise resource planning software solution. Enterprise Commons will result in lower software costs for the City of Edmonton, standardized working processes, increased efficiency and greater integration between areas such as Finance, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management.
Supporting with business readiness, you will:
● Undertake project coordination work, under supervision, relating to project administration or other related areas
● Create a range of communication materials (ie. presentations, reports, meeting minutes, website content) to support project activities
● Prepare and conduct presentations to a wide variety of audiences
● Provide administrative support on various projects, including data collection, research, file organization, process documentation and analysis
● Participate in program-related meetings
● Other related duties as required
Note: This position will be a combination of working from home and on-site working conditions. All working conditions will follow the Government of Alberta Health recommendation
● Currently enrolled in a human resources, social sciences or business post-secondary degree program
● Access to reliable internet while working from home
● Demonstrated ability using Google Workspace applications
● Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively (ie. making technical information meaningful to a general audience) through the creation of presentations, media materials, and written materials
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple elements, with attention to detail
● Ability to prepare and present technical briefs and reports
● Ability to take direction from and provide support to various city staff

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
Salary: $19.749 - $25.135 (Hourly)
