Position Title: Summer Program Director – Temporary (May 1 – August 31, 2022)
Reports To:General Director
Positions Supervised: Camp Directors, Waterfront Director, Summer Staff Team
Remuneration: This position will be paid a flat rate for it’s duration.
The Summer Program Director will plan and prepare fun events and activities prior to summer and will lead in the delivery of all programs at Harbour. They will have multiple people reporting directly to them. Responsibilities include: scheduling tent leaders and other volunteers at our 4 camp locations (Harbour, Ranch, Sailing, and Woodsman), as well as scheduling activity leaders weekly. This position involves creating high-quality, memorable, camp experiences that are fun, safe and have camper’s eager to come back all while honouring our mission and values. Prior camp leadership experience is essential, exceptional communication, planning and organization skills are required.
