Job Description:

You will be working as part of the Youth Unlimited team to facilitate drop-in times and activities for youth at one of our drop-in centres, in Mill Woods. One drop-in is strategically located next to a major transit hub, the other drop-in occurs at Foundation our Youth Centre in the North Millbourne area. We provide recreation, positive community, holistic care and mentoring to hundred of teens after school in these key areas.


Main Duties may include: Planning, leading and facilitating youth drop-in activities, Building relationships with and mentoring teens, Written reporting and debriefing of activities, events and interactions with youth, Cleaning and maintenance of facility,



  • Youth work education and/or experience is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to relate to youth and an understanding of their culture and environment
  • Capable in leading and organizing staff, volunteers and youth
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Effective in planning and organizing group activities
  • Has a vibrant and growing relationship with
  • Able to provide successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Leadership qualities should include: encouraging, facilitating and supporting, enthusiastic, taking initiative, working well with and serving others


Being a Christian Organization our volunteer staff need to agree to and sign the Youth Unlimited Statement of Faith and Community Commitments. Attached to the Volunteer Application)


Hours: Weekdays from 3 - 6 pm for drop-ins. We also have a Tuesday evening program at the Foundation Youth Centre. Planning, networking and outreach hours are flexible.
