Youth Board Member (Various Nonprofits across Alberta) – Youth @ the Table
Title: Youth Board Member (Various Nonprofits across Alberta) – Youth @ the Table
Are you between the ages of 18 and 30? Are you interested in learning more about Alberta’s nonprofit sector?
Youth @ the Table is now recruiting for the 2019-2020 cohort!
Supported by the Government of Canada and Canada Service Corps, Youth @ the Table is a province-wide initiative that has been launched to engage young people (ages 18-30) in the nonprofit sector.
As a participant, you will be matched with a nonprofit board based on where you live and the social issue you want to impact. Working directly with the board leadership team, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to influence operations and strategic directions. You will be supported by a board mentor, who will guide you through the duration of the program.
Your participation in Youth @ the Table will result in the inclusion of youth perspectives in the nonprofit sector. By sitting at the decision-making table, you will lead the nonprofit sector into the future and create space for young people to influence social issues in Alberta.
This is your chance to have a seat at the table and champion the voice and priorities of your generation! Applications close on June 15, 2019 — apply now!
