Patrick Learned the Value of Teamwork During his Summer Internship
Patrick Barayuga, who is entering his final year of study at the Leder School of Business, hopes to own his own business someday – but he’d consider being a stay-at-home dad.
This summer Patrick worked here at King’s in the development department. His main tasks included data entry, donor calling and grant research. In addition to these tasks Patrick created a new donor package.
Patrick appreciated his experience in the development department at King’s because it introduced him to a new set of skills. Patrick is confident he can apply these newly developed skills to his future in entrepreneurship. As his internship came to an end Patrick reflected on how surprised he was by the importance of teamwork. He continued by saying that even though everyone has their own work space, a business can never reach top optimization without teamwork.
