Student feature of the week - Sam Bauer
Sam Bauer is a second-year business concentration. Here's her Leder story!
“I felt like I was called to come to King’s to pursue a business degree. What really stood out to me was how value-driven Leder is. They focus on having a positive sustainable impact on the world rather than just making the highest profit. One class that really stood out to me was organizational behaviour and management with professor Wiebe. He really emphasized sustainable business and the idea of creating a generation of business students who see the value of doing business for the sake of others and seeing the larger world around them than the typical self motives business can assume.
"I also really enjoy the commercial law class because it has taught me how to be aware of what is legally going on around me. After I graduate, I would really love to go into international development or something in the non-profit sector. My second major is environmental studies, and I would love to maybe look at the business side of environmental sustainability. My other idea is maybe to do something with environmental law. Either way my options are open, and I am excited to see what the future holds!”
