Geography is an exciting interdisciplinary field that spans natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. It has something to offer every kind of imagination. King's does not offer a major in Geography, however students interested in Geography may want to check our our Environmental Studies program.
Geography at King's explores the origins of earth's major systems including geological, hydrological, and global climate systems and investigates the processes that influence the characteristics of landforms, vegetation and soils. It explores the relationship between humans and the natural environment and the spatial distributions of cities, industry, religions and culture.
King's Geography program also offers a GIS course - an applications based course focusing on spatial problem solving, data input and data manipulation using GIS software.
