I initially considered King’s because of the opportunity to play soccer. When I came for a tour of campus I was sold. I knew then that King’s was the place for me because of the soccer program, but also because of the small campus and tight knit community which I knew I wanted in post-secondary.
"I loved the close-knit community at King’s, I felt welcomed and right at home from the start."
Everyone at King’s is so friendly and warm. This is definitely my favorite part of being a student here. I’ve been able to be a member of the Women's Soccer team since the first year of my undergraduate degree and have been a student worker in the Athletics Department for the past three years. I can honestly say these experiences have defined my King’s experience.
If I can offer any advice to incoming students it would be to get involved in something on campus that you love or want to learn more about. That may be with athletics like me, or with something different on campus. Maybe student leadership? There are so many different options. There is truly a place for everyone here at King's.
