Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ) is an organization “inspired by faith to act for justice” through rights-based, intersectional public policy research and advocacy at the federal domestic level. Their three main areas of focus are poverty in Canada, climate justice, and refugee and migrant rights.
You must be aged between 15 and 30 and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Citizens for Public Justice
Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ) is a national organization of members inspired by faith to act for justice in Canadian public policy.
CPJ’s Public Justice Internship Program provides a university graduate with the opportunity to explore the meaning of public justice over a one-year paid internship. CPJ may also consider remote, virtual internships on a case-by-case basis. From September 2024 to August 2025, an intern will assist CPJ in their work on climate justice, refugee and migrant rights, poverty in Canada, or some combination of the three.
The Public Justice Intern engages in various work with CPJ staff, including research, policy analysis, meetings with MPs and political staff, and engagement with CPJ members, the media, and other members of civil society.
