The Indigenous Initiatives Circle will be selling ‘Every Child Mattes’ t-shirts in the Atrium on September 25^th, 26^th, and 27^th from 11 AM-1 PM.  All proceeds will again go to the Edmonton Native Healing Centre. The t-shirts were designed by recent King’s graduate Tirza Lanza-Bosch. If you would like an orange shirt to wear on September 30, and want to support a great local Indigenous-led organization at the same time, please stop by next week. 

"Canadiation" Film Screening

Truth and Reconciliation Day Ceremony

Cree elder and friend of King’s Russell Auger will be leading us in ceremony on Friday afternoon, September 27 at 2:30 PM by the Reconciliation Bench (outside, in the greenspace between the NAB and the library).  Anticipating the National Day for Truth and Reconcliation on September 30, elder Russesll will be giving us space as a King’s community to remember and lament those we’ve lost and to consider our role in building a different future for what we now call Canada.
