Mary Fearon

Instructor of Music, French Horn

Mary Fearon was born in Edmonton and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She is a regular performer with the Edmonton Symphony, the Citadel Theatre, Alberta Baroque Ensemble, and numerous chamber ensembles. Mary has been the horn instructor at Alberta College since 1994, and teaches horn at University of Alberta and Concordia University College. She is in demand as a clinician and adjudicator, and is a Teaching Musician with the Music Alive program run by the National Arts Centre. In the fall of 2006, she founded Horns A Plenty, a horn choir with over 20 members.
