Biography

Glory's area of specialization is leadership. Her research interests include the intersection between teaching and learning and mental health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, crisis response and mental health of leaders in postsecondary institutions. Her PhD dissertation examined university leaders’ response to human-made and natural crises. Using narrative inquiry methodology, she interviewed senior leaders to listen to their experiences. Her data was presented in the form of rich thick descriptions to allow for deep, holistic, rich, and detailed understanding of the lived experiences of these leaders’ response to crises.

Glory began her career teaching K-12, she has diverse experiences teaching across the different grade levels. She is now working with pre-service teachers to develop pedagogical content necessary to become successful teachers. Relationship, community and serving are concepts that she values.
