Concentrations
The business program offers a general commerce degree as well as concentrations focused on Accounting, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Non-profit and Social Entrepreneurship, and Environmental Management.
We believe in the importance of a strong liberal arts program, so we require all business students to take significant classes in other subject areas. This means business students have the flexibility to take courses in other disciplines that interest them. Our hope is that you graduate with a broader perspective on how business connects with society.
General Bachelor of Commerce
This program is the most popular choice among King's students. It gives you the freedom to select courses to fit your career goals. Interested in minoring in a non-business-related subject like psychology or biology? Want to study abroad for a semester? This is the program for you!
Small Business and Entrepreneurship
Some of our students come with a business idea they want to turn into reality. Some students aspire to take over a family business. This concentrations gives you the know-how you need to run your own business or take over the family firm.
Non-Profit and Social Entrepreneurship
Many of our students want to pursue a career in non-profit or social sectors. This concentrations equips you with the skills and knowledge to be an effective leader in an organization that advocates for a social cause.
Environmental Management
A growing number of students want to combine their passion for environmental issues with good business practices. This concentration provides the opportunity to pursue both goals.
