On top of regular weekly and monthly programs, the Commuter Program hosts a number of special events throughout the year. Have an idea for a special event? Let's make it happen. Suggest it to one of our team members and we'll work together to put your ideas into action. Take a look at some of the activities we've done in the past!
Fire Pit Kick off
A tradition to start out the year! Gather 'round King’s fire pit with s’mores and hot chocolate. It’s a chill way to end a school day!
Side Walk Caricature Drop-by
Drop in and be depicted by a professional caricature artist in less than 5 minutes. You'll leave with a unique personal drawing of yourself.
Dance the evening away with a classically trained South Asian Dancer and Instructor. As well as learning some pretty cool high energy dance moves, you'll enjoy samosas and a popular Indian sweet called jalebi.
Harry Potter Event
You may have read the books or watched the movies or perhaps that all passed you by? No matter! Drop by to enjoy wizardly snacks and drinks; pose with friends in Harry Potter gear.
Chocolate Fountain Yumminess
Let’s face it, chocolate is a magnet for bringing people together. Dip your favourite fresh fruit and marshmallows into the velvety deliciousness of melted chocolate!
Requested by King's students who have some pretty exceptional talents in braiding hair. Get the hairdo you've always wanted free of charge! Guys welcome too.
Arts and crafts, photo booths, and sleigh rides. The Commuter Program Team and the Student Association work together to bring the festive Christmas Spirit to all King's students.
We're bringing the pies because who doesn’t like sharing a slice? All you need to do is bring your friends and yourself.
