Do you have a craving to strengthen your creative writing muscles? Or perhaps you've been working on a piece that you want help pushing to the next level! Consider participating in the Creative Writing course this Winter semester.
This course will provide an introduction to the writing of short stories and/or poetry. You will read and discuss literary models, but the emphasis will be on students producing their own work. Through a supported workshop environment, students will explore and experience the writer's task, role, and creative process, culminating in a portfolio.
This class meets once a week in the evening. No previous creative writing experience is required.
Available as a public access course
This course is available as a non-credit public access course ENGL 390 - Introduction to Creative Writing. Public access courses are offered at a reduced rate, and you do not need to be a King's student to register.
