This course provides an introduction to the writing of short stories and poetry. You will spend time workshopping your own writing, critiquing your peers work, and building a literary portfolio.
Throughout this course, you will spend time reading and discussing various literary models, but the emphasis will be on the production of your own written work. Through a supported workshop environment, the class will explore and experience the writer's task, role, and creative process, culminating in a portfolio.
