3 Reasons To Attend King's Open House
In case you haven’t already heard, this weekend we have our bi-annual Open House! Open House is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested in coming to King’s to check out the campus, our programs, and get a sense for what life at King’s is like! At Open House you can take a tour of the campus, tour our residence, chat with professors and current students, see some of the clubs we offer… you get to see what makes King’s special.
Another great thing about attending Open House is that we are offering free applications – this is something you do not want to miss!
If you are thinking of applying to King’s, there are some things you may want to consider.
King’s requires a Personal Recommendation Form from you.
Start thinking about who you might want to write a personal recommendation for you. Ideally, this is someone who knows you in a professional way (employer, teacher, volunteer supervisor, etc).
Submit High School/Post-Secondary Transcripts.
King’s requires official transcripts from your high school and post-secondary schools you have attended. If you want an initial decision, you can submit interim transcripts or results.
Pre-Requirements according to specific programs.
Some programs that have specific requirements are Chemistry, Biology, Computing Science, Psychology, Commerce, and Environmental Science. Making sure that you have the necessary pre-requisites makes the application process go a little smoother, and checking ahead of time gives you the flexibility if you need to take a specific course.
Of course we hope that you will come to our Open House, but if you can’t, we do have several other exciting visit opportunities coming up as well! Check out this list of dates and events. Or, we can even arrange a one-on-one visit with an admissions counsellor if none of those dates work. If you are interested in applying to King’s, click here.
Hope to see you at Open House!
