Theatre Production of "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis

The fall 2018 mainstage theatre production at King’s will be Kelsey Krogman’s adaptation of The Great Divorce, an allegory on heaven and hell by C. S. Lewis.

The show, to be directed by Aaron Krogman (who directed Tartuffe in Fall 2017), will feature masks, fantastic makeup and costumes, and special effects. The actors are students in King’s Ensemble Production courses, and students in Stagecraft are the production crew.

Tickets ($15 general / $10 students and seniors) at The King’s Bookstore, online, and at the door.

Alumni are invited to receive 2 FREE tickets to Thursday evening’s performance of The Great Divorce. You may also attend an Opening Night reception and post-production reception and talk-back with Dr. Jeffrey Dudiak, Dr. Heather Looy and Dr. Stephen Martin. 2018 Fall Case Competition
Time: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

The annual Fall Internal Case Competition hosted by the Leder School of Business. 

Round 1 - 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM -  Teams present in rooms with only the judges.
Final Round - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Top 3 teams present to new judges. All are welcome to watch.
Winners Announced - 2:45 PM - 3:00 PM

This competition is sponsored by Christian Credit Union. Thanks to them, all participants will have a pizza lunch. The top three teams will also walk away with the following:

3rd Place Team: $200 in gift cards
2nd Place Team: $400 in gift cards
1st Place Team: $1000 in gift cards and a letter of reference for their work.

The King's University Department of Music is proud to present a concert featuring flautist, Sarah (Gieck) MacDonald, and pianist Dr. Leanna Regehr. Sarah is the acting assistant principal flute for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and a sought after chamber musician. Leanne is well known for her work with Edmonton's Opera Companies, and for her numerous collaborative and solo recitals.
