Dr. Gordon Preston

Biography

Gordon has over 15 years of teaching and administrative experience in the post-secondary education setting. He is an active consultant helping organizations leverage technology for learning, particularly in the online environment. Gordon has advised the Province of Alberta on educational technology in higher education, and managed the design of online learning programs for some of the largest learning organizations in western Canada.

Research

Gordon's current research is in the area of managing inter-institutional, distance education consortia. As well, he has presented in the area of Business Ethics, Leadership, and educational technology and distance education. Gordon’s publications include a variety of public and proprietary consulting reports for government, education, private, and not-for-profit organizations.
