- The term “Indigenous” refers to students who self-identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit (FNMI) ancestry
- No proof of ancestry is required
- (However, if you will be applying for financial aid for indigenous students, you will need to provide documentation to the Coordinator of Student Accounts and Awards in the Registry)
- The process is voluntary and confidential
- The Registry oversees the data collection, storage, and reporting in strict confidence and in accordance with privacy legislation.
