First-Year Retreat

September 10–12, 2025

The First Year Retreat is included in your orientation fee. Registration is open until Friday, September 5, 2025. Register online using your CrossRoad account or go in person to the Registry to add UNIV065.

Head out to beautiful Camp Nakamun for King’s annual First-Year Retreat.  The retreat is a great way to step away from the busyness of your first couple of weeks of university and relax with new friends.

There are a few organized activities but mainly the First-Year Retreat is about hanging out, meeting new people, and having fun. Attending the First-Year Retreat fulfills students first semester Interdisciplinary Studies (I.S.) requirement! The weekend is meant to build friendships and get to know staff and student leaders. Keep yourself busy trying out a various camp activities or choose to enjoy some quiet time in this beautiful, calm setting. Transportation, meals, and accommodations are included.
