International Student Programs

International Student Assistant Program
The International Students' Assistant (ISA) Program is an exciting program that partners new international students with a student who is committed to supporting and building a friendship with you. The ISA assists the international student to get to know Canadian culture and involved in community at King's and Edmonton during their first month in Canada.

International Student Events
A variety of events are held every week to bring international students together for fun and to connect them with each other. These events are hosted by the International Student Assistants and are times to socialize, build each other up, and develop a warm, caring community at King’s--our home away from home. Enjoy cultural lunches, special events, small groups, and more!

Cultural lunches are usually held in one of the apartments at noon on a Monday, a common free period for all students. During these events, students learn to make food from different cultures and broaden their worldviews. Any student willing to teach other international students about their food are more than welcome to do so!
