2020 Orientation will be offered online through Moodle, the online learning platform used at The King's University. We really value equipping our students for success and this year you can look forward to a self-guided digital experience where you will learn how to be a successful student at King’s.
Whether you’re curious about how to contact your academic advisor, purchasing textbooks for classes, or simply want to find new opportunities to get involved and try new things, you will find all of your answers through Online Orientation.
Accessing Online Orientation
Online Orientation will be accessible starting August 19, 2020. To view Online Orientation, log in to Moodle using the same student credentials you use to access your student email and navigate to "Online Orientation" at the top left hand side of your screen.
For a chance to win a King's sweatshirt, download and email in your Online Orientation certificate (received after completion) to email@example.com. All submissions must be made by Friday, September 18, 2020 and must be submitted by the student enrolled in UNIV050. Winner will be announced on YAPP on Monday, September 21, 2020 and will be notified by email.

Parent Orientation: September 4, 2020

Parent Orientation is designed to answer your questions about King's and your student! Join us on September 4th at 7:00 p.m.
Meet the Faculty: September 4, 2020
Meet the Faculty is a virtual meet and greet with the professors and fellow classmates in your program. We hope you will become comfortable with building relationships with professors and students - even online! Building relationships will make your courses that much more engaging.
Between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., each professor will have an hour each to chat with students. Links can be found at the end of the Online Orientation but will also be emailed to students the week of according to their declared program.
Community Day: September 8, 2020
Join us for Community Day out on the South Field. We will have stations set up for clubs, student life programming, and local churches. There will also be a food truck, snacks, and outdoor movie set up to end the event.
